Prof. Trimble wins Frances Davis Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching
We are immensely proud to announce that our very own Prof. Zac Trimble is UHM’s 2021 recipient of the Frances Davis Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching!
Professor Trimble is a proud graduate of MIT and member of our mechanical engineering department. He also directs the college’s RIP Lab–a program of student projects that focus on renewable energy, industrial automation, and precision engineering.
Chosen by a campus-wide committee of former award recipients, the Frances Davis Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching recognizes faculty members who have made significant contributions in teaching and student learning, honoring an extraordinary level of subject mastery and scholarship, teaching effectiveness and creativity, and personal character.
