Prof. Allen to speak at 2019 International Congress on Ultrasonics
ME Professor John S. Allen III will be delivering a lecture on “Nonstationary Forcing of Ultrasound Contrast Agents: Subharmonics, Bjerknes Force and Biological Effects” at the International Congress on Ultrasonics in Bruges, Belgium on September 5th.
Professor Allen has been heavily involved in the acoustics community as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Vibration and Acoustics and a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America. “It is honor to speak at such a prestigious conference. I look forward to interacting with the leading researchers in ultrasound from around the world,” said Allen.
This gathering is organized by the International Congress on Ultrasonics (ICU) and the University of Leuven, Belgium, and is just the seventh world-wide meeting of the ultrasonics community, continuing a long tradition of Ultrasonics International conferences as well as World Congresses on Ultrasonics. It will provide a valuable and unique opportunity for participants to exchange their achievements and experience in view of addressing present-day challenges as well as to enlarge their international contacts in the field.
