He writes in an email that “I am enjoying good health and am very busy in supervising  a group of 10 PhD students at Shanghai Jiao Tong University on various projects. In addition, I will be chairing the 16th International Heat Transfer Conference to  be held in China (for the first time) this coming August in Beijing, where 2000 heat transfer specialists all over the world will attend. This is the most important event in the field of heat transfer which is held every four years. Each summer, my wife and I visited the Bay Area to see my son and daughter and their families, and also get-together with Prof. Shu Lin and his wife.”
