The College held its Fall 2025 Convocation on December 19 at the John F. Kennedy Theatre on the UH Mānoa campus, honoring the achievements of its graduating students.
Dean Brennon Morioka welcomed attendees to the ceremony, which featured a convocation address by respected industry leader Alan Arakawa, Vice President of Residential Operations at Castle & Cooke. Arakawa, a UH Mānoa alumnus with degrees in civil engineering and business administration, shared his insights on the impact that graduates will have in shaping Hawai‘i’s communities.
The College also recognized its Outstanding Graduating Seniors: Czarina Mae Viloria in Civil & Environmental Engineering, Tony Lu in Electrical & Computer Engineering, and Kent Miyahara in Mechanical Engineering.
All students took part in the traditional ‘Order of the Engineer’ oath, pledging their commitment to the ethical duties of the profession, before PhD, MS, and BS candidates from all disciplines within the College were individually recognized and warmly applauded.
