The UH student chapter of Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) was established in October 1993. The chapter is organized and operated by students under the supervision of the professors at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Currently, there are 14 student members including 11 undergraduate and 3 graduate students. The chapter actively arranges for speakers to make presentations for members and combines visits to "the field" with room meetings. The UH student chapter of ITE is a great way to meet other students interested in the field of Transportation Engineering. It also provides valuable networking opportunities with Professors and Professionals working in Transportation Engineering. |
