Micromouse teams
They went to UC Santa Cruz
during the Spring Break and brought us a couple of prizes from Micromouse
Competition and fisrt prize from student Paper Competition.

LAN Party !
With spring break just ahead, we will have some time to relax.? This Saturday, IEEE is holding a LAN party in Holmes 387.?
On the first saturday of spring break (the 21st), there will be a lanparty in the Holmes 387 computer lab. We plan on playing the following games:
- Unreal tournament (patch 436)
- Unreal tournament 2004 (version 3369, with megapack and ecebonuspack map packs)
- Starcraft broodwars (version 1.61)
- Call of duty 4 (version 1.7)
- armagetron advanced (version 0.2.8.2.1)
Please have these games installed before coming, it will save on setup time. Also, please do an antivirus/malware scan before connecting to the network, it could save people a lot of hassle.
Other games may be played, if the majority wants to do so. There will be a mix of team and free for all play with varied games and gametypes.
The event will be open to everyone, you are welcome to bring friends.
2nd General Meeting!
The secondIEEE general meeting is coming up next week Friday,March 20, 5:00 pm at Holmes 411. We still have officer positions open, so if you're interested in a leadership role, please come ready to volunteer.? We will also be holding officer elections, so come join us! As usual, food and drinks will be provided!

The first IEEE general meeting is coming up next week Friday,February 6, 5:00 pm at Holmes 411. We will have a discussion of the events for this semester, and we would like you to participate. As usual, we will provide food for everyone.
Dodgeball
IEEE is having Dodgeball fun event. It is just a free event that all Engineering students can relax and play Dodgeball. You even don't have to be an engineering student to come. It will be for everyone. We'll take over a Tennis court at Kapi`olani park at night and split up and "PLAY DODGEBELL!"

ECUH Fall Social
Our Engineering Council of UH (ECUH) is holding the Fall engineering social on November 21st! Competitions will be held between the majors here at our college of engineering. So come join us to enjoy the free food, drinks, games, and sweet victory!

COE Career Day
The College of Engineering's 2008 Fall Career Day is around the corner! An estimated 80 local and mainland companies are expected to attend Career Day on Wednesday, October 29th from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on the ground floor of Holmes Hall. This event allows you to explore the various opportunities open to you, whether you are searching for a full-time job, a part-time job, or an internship.? Even if you are not in a rush to find a job, Career Day presents the perfect occasion to meet industry professionals and learn more about what careers are out there.

2nd General Meeting
The second general meeting will be on this Friday 10/24 at 4:30PM in Holmes 411. To make our experience enjoyable, we'll be providing some entertainment, food, and drinks. We just need you bring the great company. We will also be discussing new opportunities and goals that our officers and volunteers have come up with for our club, and we're also welcoming your ideas too!? The #1 goal for this semester is to make the IEEE student branch club into your club, and we need you to help make that happen.
IEEE Hawaii Section- BBQ
The IEEE Hawaii section is having a BBQ this Sunday, 11:30AM, at White Plains Beach in Barbers Point. This is for all IEEE members, and the main theme is to connect our student branch with professionals and engineers from all over Hawaii. All attendees from the student branch are requested to bring snacks and drinks.
Fundraiser at Xyloh
SWE (Society of Women Engineers) and IEEE (Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers) clubs are teaming up to put on a fundraiser event at Xyloh this Friday! All proceeds go to directly benefit our club members, so please support us and let's have some fun before it's too late in the semester to let loose!

Welcome Back!!!
We're having our first IEEE student chapter general meeting for all students in IEEE related fields and IEEE student members on Thursday (9/11) at 12PM. Food will be provided, so come early! First come first served). If you're free after the meeting, we'll also be doing a mini-social to kick off the semester. So come over and meet some new friends!
