Welcome to the College of Engineering

Holmes HallLocated in beautiful Mānoa Valley, the University of Hawai‘i was founded in 1907 as the College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts. Engineering has played a role in the institution's curriculum for nearly a century with four of the original five students majoring in engineering!

Today, the University has an enrollment of over 50,000 of which nearly 900 students are in the College of Engineering pursuing B.S., M.S., and Ph.D.'s in three disciplines: Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
