Continuing a Tradition

As we celebrate the 100-year anniversary of our college, we’ve taken this opportunity to reflect on who we are, what we do, and why.  We have a lot for which to be proud.  Our alumni have gone on to distinguished careers in the public and private sector, and our faculty and students continue to contribute to improving the quality of lives of all members of the community through their outstanding work and research in Hawaii and abroad.

We take this time to reaffirm our mission to educate a new generation of leaders and community members who will soon be making the decisions that influence our world.  Giving them the tools to become the engineers that design life-saving biomedical devices, create technologies that can mitigate natural disasters, explore ocean and space, and build sustainable and ecologically friendly communities, among many more amazing engineering feats.  We look forward to the future of engineering in Hawaii.
