09-03-09 Pearl Harbor Shipyard Workers go to College Under New ‘Apprentice to Engineer’ Program

090820-N-0676F-004 PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (Aug. 20, 2009) Two Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard empoyees -- rigger Ryan Zukeran of Aiea, left, and electronics mechanic Ethan Hottendorf of Kaneohe -- will attend the University of Hawaii-Manoa full-time for the next four years to earn engineering degrees under the Shipyard's Apprentice to Engineer (A2E) program.
