Guest Speaker Pete Cooper, Global Development, Better Place Pete Cooper is a member of the global development team for Better Place, a sustainable transportation copmany that is building electric vehicle recharge networks around the world. Mr. Cooper's focus on renewable energy is directly related to sustainable transportation and the possibility to end our addition to fossil fuels. He is currently responsible for the Hawaii business.
Special Awards Brenda M. McCaffrey, Distinguished Alumni Award Dr. McCaffrey received her Bacherlor of Science degree in electrical engineering from UH-Manoa College of Engineering in 1985. She is the founder of Kolea Technology, a consulting company specializing in high tech start-ups. Russell Figueiroa, Outstanding Service Award Mr. Figueiroa is the President and Chief Executive Officer of R.M. Towill Corporation, Hawaii's largest civil engineering and surveying firm.
