Guest Speaker:  Anurag Bist

New age communications and social network applications like skype, twitter, linkedIn and Facebook are the new business tools of the global entrpreneur.  Today, innovation in making products for a global marketplace means utilizing talent wherever they are located.

Dr. Bist will talk about the attributes necessary for achieving success in this new and exciting environment.  He will use examples from his current and past ventures to derive some key metrics for success and failure.  Dr. Bist will conclude his talk by applying what he has discussed to potential global ventures that could be incubated at UH Manoa and discuss ways of developing a culture of risk-taking at the grass roots level.
