The Hawaii Council of Engineering Societies' (HCES) annual Engineers Week Banquet is the main highlight of the celebration of National Engineers Week in Hawaii.  Four major annual awards (Engineer of the Year; Young Engineer of the Year; HCES Lifetime Achievement; Student Engineer of the Year) are presented.

Current College of Engineering student, Reece Iwami (Electrical Engineering), HCES Student Engineer of the Year, and College of Engineering Dean Peter Crouch.

Dr. Alfred A. Yee is being presented with the HCES Lifetime Achievement Award.

HCES awards the Young Engineer of the Year award to Jeoffrey S. Cudiamat.
