Hewlett-Packard Computer Lab
Information about the Hewlett-Packard Educational Computing Lab in POST 208

The College of Engineering Hewlett Packard Computer Lab provides a collection of computer hardware and software for student use. The central computer system is an HP 9000 K460 called Wiliki. Wiliki is accessible through PCs in POST 208, via the campus network, and by modem. Computer-aided design tools MatLab, ADS, Maple, and AutoCAD Mechanical Desktop are readily accessible for use in projects and assignments. This is the primary computer lab for students in the College of Engineering at the University of Hawai'i. Engineering students and faculty members may use the facility by presenting current UH identification to the Lab Monitor.
Hardware Available
The following hardware is available for users in POST 208:
- 42 Pentium 4/3.2 GHz Windows XP PCs
- 1 Hewlett-Packard Laserjet 4200 printer
- 1 Hewlett-Packard Color Laserjet 4600 Printer
- 1 Hewlett-Packard Designjet 800PS
- 1 Hewlett-Packard Scanjet 4c Color Scanner
Users must provide their own paper for the laser printers. The laserjet printers are connected to the PCs, Workstations and Wiliki.

First 4 weeks of semester
- Monday - Friday: 10:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Saturday, Sunday: Closed
From 5th week until last 4 weeks of semester
- Monday - Thursday: 10:30 am to 8:00pm
- Friday: 10:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: Noon to 5:00 pm
Last 4 weeks of semester
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am to 11:00 pm
- Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: Noon to 8:00 pm
Finals week and Spring break
- Monday - Friday: 10:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Saturday, Sunday: Closed
Closed on holidays.
