POST 214 is the home of the Donald Chang Won Kim Multimedia Laboratory. Mr. Donald Kim, a 1958 civil engineering graduate of the College of Engineering at the University of Hawaii, gifted us with $1,000,000. This gift was used to build and furnish the lab as well as to establish an endowment that will be used to keep the lab state-of-the-art in perpetuity. Designed as a teaching facility to provide students with hands-on training using the latest computer software, the lab houses high speed computers, sophisticated engineering software, and multimedia presentation equipment, all electronically networked to provide an interactive learning environment.
