What does WWW stand for?

WWW stands for the WorldWide Web Project which originated from the European Laboratory for Particle Physics (CERN) in Switzerland. The Web does not have a "starting point", and can be viewed starting at any location. You can view images, watch movies and hear sounds if your viewer (e.g., Chimera, Mosaic, Lynx or Netscape) and computer support it.
