Setting titles for two-dimensional plots

By default, gnuplot uses the name of the function or data file as the title used in the legend. (Note that this title differs from the title of the plot itself.) For example, by giving the sine wave plot a title, we replace the sin(x) with Sine Wave for this plot:
plot sin(x) title "Sine Wave"
